CAN fertilizer contains 26% of nitrogen in the forms of ammonium (NH4+) ve nitrate (NO3-). It can be used as top fertilizer for all plants except rice. It is a top fertilizer used especially in acidic pH and limeless soils. Plants need a certain amount of nitrate. CAN fertilizer meets this need in a readily available form. It also ensures that ammonium ions are retained by soil colloids, which means meeting the nitrogen that the plant needs during the growth process. In other words, it is a very useful top fertilizer type.
