Ammonium sulfate fertilizer is a physiological acid fertilizer containing 21% ammonium nitrogen and 24.2% sulfur. Farmers call this fertilizer sugar fertilizer because it has a crystalline structure in appearance and resembles sugar. Granular ammonium sulfate, on the other hand, contains 20.5% ammonium nitrogen and sulfur. It has a granular structure in appearance. The nitrogen in this fertilizer is in the form of ammonium, thus ammonium sulfate fertilizer has a long-lasting effect and does not disappear with washing. It contains sulfur in the form of sulfate, making it very useful for plants and meets all needs. Since it will acidify the environment when it dissolves in the soil, it increases the uptake of micronutrients in calcareous-high pH soils.
